Channel for TCP
Easy, fast and secure alerting: Send messages via TCP
The TCP channel allows messages to be easily received, sent and managed via TCP through a Windows client such as the ACC Windows App on a Windows PC. By the TCP protocol fast transmission is guaranteed. Only a network connection is required for the transmission of messages, which is directly accessed by the Alarm Control Center .
Communication via a secure TCP connection
When the TCP channel is started, a TCP server is initialized with a fixed IP address and a configured port. Each participant must then register with a unique ID on the TCP server. The unique ID is saved by the channel together with the subscriber’s connection information. After successful registration, messages can be sent via the existing TCP connection from the TCP channel to the ACC Windows App If a participant wants to send an acknowledgment or request to the TCP channel, this is also possible via the existing TCP connection.
Monitoring the connection with
alive messages
In order to monitor the connection status between the TCP channel and the ACC Windows app, alive messages and acknowledgments of receipt are exchanged between the ACC Windows app and the TCP channel at regular intervals. If the connection is disrupted, the TCP connection of the associated participant is disconnected and the participant is immediately notified via the ACC Windows App .
